We are have two speakers at the meetup:
Mike Essex – Online Marketing Manager At Koozai and Richard Kirk Comms Planner.
Mike will be speaking about “<b style=”font-size : 16px”>The Five Pitfalls That Hold Blogs Back”
Far too many business blogs are done merely as an afterthought or are just treading water when they could be doing so much better. Mike will look at what those blogs could do to improve and the changes they made at Koozai to win Best Blog at the UK Search Awards.

– Why they deleted 900 blog posts
– Why writing less often gave them better results
– Why responsive design isn’t as easy as it looks
– Why boring content can be far more important that creating something cool
– Why almost every blog is a lawsuit waiting to happen

Richard Kirk – Comms Planner at Zenith Optimedia
While Richard was at Performics, his company won “Best Use of Search in Finance” in PPC at the UK Search Awards. They were also nominated for Best Use of Search/Travel. Richard will be speaking about how to run award winning campaigns and the challenges an agency may face.
Ex-Head of SEO at Performics and now comms planner, Rich has been devising digital strategies for over 5 years. Forthright and pragmatic, he enjoys telling clients the things they need to hear but may not want to.
